'The Sabbath' Book Cover
Book cover options created during an SVA Summer class. I wanted to give the book a modern update, while still maintaining a connection to its core themes. The first option conjures an image of an ascending staircase, and the shapes also combine to evoke the idea of wings. The second option takes the story of creation to an abstracted level, to before there was separation between the sky and the earth.
